SC Shadow T S I.
SC Shady seventy six.
SC Urbansoulja.
SC Darth Donor.
SC Darth Gleaner.
SC Darth Melvin .

1st Amendment - Loyalty.

Fidelity to The Shadow Corporation shall be absolute. Initiating the recruitment process indicates that you acknowledge you cannot be part of any other clan. Our clan not supporting a particular game does not entitle you to activity with another clan. Regardless of which games we chose to support or show lack of. Being caught on other clans rosters are grounds for immediate expulsion.

We do support and believe in friendship outside of the clan. You may be friends with whoever you chose. You may play in any ranked room or non-clan match with anybody you choose.

2nd Amendment - Joining the Shadow Corporation.

All new recruits must read, understand, and agree to this constitution.. The constitution will always be publicly available for view. New recruits must fill out the recruitment application form in its entirety. This will require registration on the Corporation forums. Once a division leader or recruitment officer makes contact with the recruit, that recruit is placed on a 7 day probationary period during which he cannot compete in any clan events aside from practices.

3rd Amendment - Professionalism.

The Shadow Corporation shall be composed of individuals who conduct themselves in a mature and professional manner.. All members of the Corporation who carry the SC tags represent the organization with all of their actions. Failure to maintain a professional attitude will result in executive actions against the member(s).

4th Amendment - Punishment

Failure to follow the rules set in this constitution will place you in a council of your peers. You will be brought into a room with the Darth, XO's, the Creator, and your Division Leader. Punishment will be handled according per case.

5th Amendment - Behavior.

Shadow Corporation members are not to slander any fellow member of the Corporation, its affiliates, friends, or opponents. This includes racial, sexual, or other derogatory remarks. Inappropriate comments include those displayed in a joking manner.

Neither our members nor the opponents we face are guaranteed to be over the age of 18. A simple guideline is if you would not say it in front of your mother or children, then do not say it.

6th Amendment - Removal from the Corporation.

Removal from the clan is an eternal decision. Re entrance into the clan will not be allowed.
Member who separate from the clan on their own free will, while on good standing with the Corporation, may be entitled to re entrance. A separated member will be granted one chance during their lives to invoke re entrance rights. A vote of at least 75% of the current roster with 80% in favor of re entrance is required. If the vote is sufficient for re entrance, the member will gain full privileges of a new recruit.

7th Amendment - Tags.

All Shadow Corporation members are required to wear SC tags at all times. Some games have in-game clan tag systems. These are not substitute for the actual change of your gamertag. If for some reason you cannot make the change you will not be allowed to participate in any clan matches, however you may or may not be allowed to participate in clan events.

8th Amendment - Active Teams.

Clan matches must be played at a minimum of one match every two weeks and a total of at least 3 matches in 1 month.. Any clan that does not maintain this will be placed on a probationary period. If the clan does not surpass the requirements at the end of the month, it will be placed into a forced retirement.

The clan leader and co-leader(s) will have a forced retirement taken into consideration when they apply for further team leadership positions. A leader that is aware that his clan will be closing down may inform the division leader, an X O or the Darth that his clan will be inactive, and wishes it to be shut down BEFORE it is placed on a probationary period will avoid any penalties.

9th Amendment - Position Changes.

Any persons wishing to lead a clan, join a clan, or change clans must make their request on the forums directed to the division leader. Failure to do so will result in that request being denied.

10th Amendment - Active Divisions.

Each division must have at least 1 active team to be considered an active division. Once a division is left without a team, an announcement will be made on the forums. If an active clan does not appear within three weeks, that division will be forced into retirement. It may be possible in the future to re-instate a division if the want is strong. Requirements will be determined at a later date.

11th Amendment - Match Results.

All match results must be recorded in the appropriate forum. On the third occurrence of team failure to post match results, the division leader and the team leader will be asked to assign new members for their positions for a period of two weeks.

12th Amendment - Season Stats.

At the end of each season (GameBattles, in-game ladder, tournament, or playoff) personal and clan stats will be placed into a public archive. The use of stats is to give each person a history, as well as self worth in The Shadow Corporation. Stats will be appropriate for each division and will not be focused purely on kills and deaths. Just like basketball has assists, so will our games.
Awards will be issued appropriate to the achievement.

13th Amendment - Stat Punishment.

There will be NO arguments or conflicts regarding stats. If you are caught team killing during ANY clan match, or team event, you will be suspended from Clan Matches and Corporation matches for two weeks. Repeat offenses will initiate expulsion hearings.

14th Amendment - Darth Duties.

The Darth is responsible for the well being of the clan and its members. He should know everything going on in all divisions. To help him, the 4 executive officers will assistthe darth. All members of the clan are encouraged to recruit, but if approached by an entire clan wishing admittance into The Shadow Corporation, they must speak with the Darth. The term of each Darth is 4 months long, with the possibility of two terms. In the absence of a Darth, The Creator will assume temporary lead of The Shadow Corporation until a new Darth is elected.

The Darth cannot touch the constitution without a senate bill being put forth, the Darth can demand action and decide whether to sign or veto but cannot bring something up like, unlimited term limits, recruiting periods, amendment or repeal etc

15th Amendment - Executive Officer (X/O) Duties.

The main purpose of an executive officer is to ensure the Darth does not lose sight of his job. They are his council of advisors. There will be 4 executive officers at all times, the acceptable candidates are available, elected by the members, composed of the most able members of The Shadow Corporation. The Executive Officers are not an extension of the Darth's vote. Each officer will have his own opinion and should at every given chance present their individual opinion. Executive Officer terms last 4 months, with a 2 term max. Executive officers may be removed from their positions at any time by a vote of “no confidence” by 80% of the active members.

16th Amendment - Division Leader Duties.

A division leaders main duty is to maintain the upkeep of the division. If he sees a slacking clan, he should do what he can to motivate the clan, as well as notify an X O or the Darth to monitor the clan. A division leader will make public bi-weekly reports on the status of his division, the stats for the clans in his division as a whole. The larger the division, the harder and more involved this will become. It is imperative that division leaders have the full support of their clan leaders. A division leader must lead a clan in their division. If the division leader's clan falls inactive and is forced into retirement, the division leader will be replaced by another clan leader, if one is present. If no other clan is present in the division that division will be forced into retirement.

17th Amendment - Clan Leaders and Co Leaders.

A clan leader and co leaders main role is to maintain the upkeep and success of their clan. They will record all clan matches, stats, additions, losses, or any other changes to their roster in a public weekly report addressed to their division leader. If a clan leader is found to be inactive, he will be removed from his position, but not the clan if there is adequate room. The current co-leader will become the new leader, and a new co-leader will be announced. A member may lead more than one clan, but not within the same division, with the exception of games that have separate “ladders.” (example, one leader may take charge of both a Rainbow 6 Vegas Team Survival ladder and a Team Sharpshooter ladder).

18th Amendment - Clan Absorption.

Any clan that has the same views as The Shadow Corporation may join our ranks. However they must realize, and accept the fact they will be assimilated into The Shadow Corporation. No part of The Shadow Corporation identity will be lost. Individual members of absorbed clans must fill out the proper Clan Recruitment Application form. They will be subject to The Shadow Corporation Constitution, and treated like any other member would.

Once accepted they are a full Shadow Corporation member. The joining clan will be allowed to create a team in any division they choose to enter. However, they will not be allowed to refuse any member who wishes to join, if room allows. The division leader reserves the right to assign members for clan matches. If the clan actively plays any games that we currently do not, they will be allowed to create a division for the new game. If a clan leader or members of the clan decide to leave, while others decide to stay, the members showing loyalty will be placed into another roster and remain members of the Shadow Corporation.

19th Amendment - Clan Events.

Competition events such as in-house competitions and extra-clan tournaments (such as MLG) will be organized and ran by the Event Coordinator without exceptions. Any member of the clan may suggest in private any events he wishes to the Event Coordinator.

20th Amendment - Glitches.

No Shadow Corporation member shall ever use glitches. We are better than that. Any member found to be using a glitch will have action taken against them. The only exception to this rule is if the ladder we are playing on recognizes and allows the glitch.
21st Amendment - Changes to the Constitution.

The Shadow Corporation constitution is a dynamic document meant to establish the rules and regulations to serve for the betterment of the clan and its members.

A vote can be called for a constitution amendment by either the Acting Darth or a majority of the current officers (greater than 50% of the X O's, Captains, and Division Leaders).

A minimum of 75% of the current roster on the day the vote is called must vote. 66% of the votes need to be in favor of the changes for them to become binding.

Voting will take place via public forum postings. Votes will be counted for seven days from the time the vote is called.

The amendment becomes Corporation rule when:

1. a quorum of 75% of active members have voted.

2. 66% of the total votes are in favor of the change.

3. the voting closes.

For this instance a member is considered active if the member has voted in the last election. this does not mean that a member who missed a vote will not have their vote counted. when the member votes they renew their status.

21st Amendment - Creator added

Explanation of the party system:

The Shadow Corporation being a democratic clan should benefit greatly from this new system. The party system in SC is a system to ensure greater and more broad equalization of power through it’s members. This will also have greater reach into SC as the partys will form the new senate bringing even greater depth to the SC organization.

Each party will elect it’s own representative(s) to represent their party in policy voting. The party will hold 1 seat and 1 vote per representative in a newly formed senate. SC issues will be brought to the senate’s attention and a forum debate followed by voting will commence. Senate Members are responsible to their own party’s concerns and each senator can raise issues during the once per month meeting when it will then be voted upon and any changes shall be made within 7 business days.

Partys shall contain no less then 10 members. Each party will choose their own representative (however they decide to choose), who will vote on the party’s behalf in SC policy and discipline matters (previously Darth’s responsibility). Party’s are allowed 1 Representative per 10 members with a maximum of 10 representatives... Representatives term length is basis upon it’s own party rules.

The Senate will meet Monthly to vote on issues. If there is an issue that is pressing, an emergency session can be called upon by the Darth. Darth has the ability to Veto, as always once per term.

Explanation of internal personnel movements.

All recruits must fill out the appropriate application. The recruitment officer will then assign 2 guides for the recruit to play with. The recruit is responsible for sending a friend request to the assigned guides. The guides will post their thoughts on the recruit and the RO will make a decision. Lets say in this case SC noname has been accepted. The member has 2 weeks to add tags or that person will have to resubmit their app. The RO will then move the application thread to closed applications section of the forums and leave a note of the outcome. The recruit desires to play Gears of War.The RO will contact the DL of Gears and inform them of an incoming recruit via PM on the forums or ingame XBOX live message. The recruit is also copied in on this message. The recruit will then contact the DL and the DL will assign the recruit to w/e team needs members. The RO will update records in the forums to reflect the addition.

Transfers: Members wishing to move from game to game shall notify the RO in writing VIA PM on the forums or ingame XBOX Live message of the request. Members cannot be switched or moved from roster to roster unless it is approved by the RO Staff. The RO will take the request and try to fulfill them within 7 business days. RO will update records and then close the request. IT IS AGAINST THE RULES FOR ANY ONE OTHER THEN THE Recruitment Officer TO MAKE ROSTER CHANGES!
